Pair and sync
- Install CASIO WATCHES, turn on Bluetooth, and on the watch hold the button marked with the Bluetooth symbol until it searches. Add the watch in the app.
- Time, city and DST now follow the phone. The watch syncs on its own and when you press the Bluetooth button.
Set the tide location
In the app, open the watch, choose Tide (or Surf spot), search the roughly 3,300 locations and pick yours, then send it to the watch. The watch's MIP display then shows the tide graph, high and low tide times and heights, moon age and sunrise and sunset for that spot. Change spots the same way before a trip.
Set the time manually
On every G-Shock the four buttons are named the same way: A is top-left (Adjust), B top-right, C bottom-left (Mode), D bottom-right. Your watch's module number is engraved on the case back; Casio's manual for that module is the final word.
In timekeeping, hold A until the city flashes; pick the city with D / B; press C through DST, 12/24, seconds, hour, minutes and date; press A. A paired watch will re-sync from the phone afterwards.
Reading the display
The main screen shows time plus the tide graph; the other screens (press C) show sunrise/sunset, moon data, step count and the training log. The high-contrast MIP LCD is readable in full sun without the backlight.
