Nitecore's EDC series are flat-bodied lights, from the pocketable EDC23 through the 6,500-lumen EDC29 to the 8,000-lumen EDC37. The flat shape is what makes them carry at all, and it is also why they do not fit a standard flashlight holster. We make a kydex sheath molded to each.
A flat light in a round holster rattles; a flat light in a soft pouch buries its buttons. Each Nitecore sheath is molded to its light's exact body, holds it with an audible click, and leaves the tail button and screen exposed so the light works from the belt. The EDC37 version has a belt loop for the extra weight.

How to carry it
On a belt
The sheath ships with the standard Clip & Carry belt clip, which is universal across all our multitool sheaths and carries the tool vertically on a normal belt.
On a duty or work belt
Swap the clip for the Tek-Lok belt clip, which fits belts up to 2.25 inches wide and attaches with the sheath's existing holes.
On a pack, vest or bag
The MOLLE clip replaces the belt clip using the same screws and mounts the sheath to MOLLE webbing on a bag or plate carrier.
Why kydex
Kydex is a thermoformed plastic that is molded directly on the tool, so the sheath holds it by shape rather than by squeezing it. It does not absorb water, oil, or sweat, does not stretch, does not fray at the belt loop, and lets the tool draw with one hand. A retention screw sets how firmly it holds. It is why every sheath here is guaranteed for life.
Frequently asked questions
Does the EDC29 sheath fit the EDC37?
No. The EDC37 is larger and has its own sheath with a belt loop.
Are the buttons accessible in the sheath?
Yes. The sheath is molded so the tail switch and screen stay exposed.
Does the EDC37 sheath have a belt loop?
Yes, for the extra size and weight of that light.
Can I mount it on a pack?
The EDC29 and EDC23 sheaths take the MOLLE clip.
The bottom line
If you carry the tool daily, the Nitecore EDC37 Flashlight Sheath with Belt Loop is the upgrade that keeps it on your belt, clicks it in, and outlasts the pouch it came with. Add the Tek-Lok for a duty belt or the MOLLE clip for a pack.
