The Sig P365 is the gun that started the micro-compact double-stack category, and it has grown into a family: the original P365, the P365 MOS with an optic cut, the P365XL with a longer slide and grip, and the XL MOS. A holster molded to one does not necessarily fit the next, and that is the first thing to sort out. Which P365 do you have?
The standard P365 runs a 3.1-inch barrel. The P365XL runs 3.7 inches with a taller grip. Because a molded holster grips the slide, the XL will not seat in a standard P365 mold, and the standard gun will rattle in an XL mold. The MOS versions add an optic cut to the slide but keep the same slide length, so an XL MOS holster fits an XL with or without a dot. How to carry a P365
Appendix
This is the position the P365 was designed for. Set the clip near neutral and sit down; the standard gun is short enough that it vanishes. The XL wants a claw.
Strong side
Fifteen to twenty degrees of forward cant at 3 or 4 o'clock. Comfortable for driving.
Lights
These holsters are molded without a weapon light. If you run a light on the P365's rail, you need a light-specific mold, and you should shop by light model.

Does a P365 holster fit a P365XL?
No. The XL slide is longer. Order the XL holster.
Does the P365XL MOS holster fit an XL without an optic?
Yes. The optic cut only matters if you have a dot; the slide is the same.
Do I need the MOS holster for a P365 MOS?
If you run a dot, yes: the MOS holsters are cut to clear it. Without a dot, the standard holster fits.
Can I add a claw?
Yes, on all four holsters. The retention screw spacing accepts one.
