Holstering a micro-compact
Micro-compacts like the CC9 live or die on the holster. The short slide means there is little material for the kydex to grip, so a generic or universal holster tends to either drop the gun or hold it so loosely that it shifts. Retention has to come from a mold cut to the CC9's exact slide and trigger guard, and the grip, which is the part that prints on a gun this size, is best managed with a claw at appendix. Both holsters here are formed on a CC9-specific aluminum mold, and the IWB is claw-compatible.

Three ounces of .08-inch kydex formed over a CAD-milled aluminum mold. Retention is adjustable Posi-Click, so you hear the CC9 seat and can set the hold. The 1.5-inch fiber-reinforced stealth belt clip hides under the belt and adjusts from 5 degrees negative to 20 degrees forward cant, covering appendix, strong side, hip, small of back, and cross draw. It is claw-compatible for appendix carry, has an undercut trigger guard for a clean draw, an over-cut open muzzle for threaded barrels, clearance for suppressor-height sights, and a full-length sweat guard with a rear sight shield. How to carry the CC9
Appendix
This is where a micro-compact shines. Set the IWB clip near neutral and add a claw if the grip prints. The short slide makes sitting comfortable.

Setting up a CC9
The CC9 is H&K's entry into the micro-compact class the P365 created, and it carries like its competitors: thin enough to disappear, with a grip that is the only part asking for attention. The sequence is the same as any gun in this class. Claw first, because it rotates the grip into your body and costs nothing in comfort. Then ride height, set so the grip sits entirely under the belt line rather than peeking when you reach up. Cant near neutral at appendix, fifteen degrees forward if you move it behind the hip. Retention wants to be light: a short slide gives the kydex less to hold, and overtightening the screws makes the draw sticky without adding security. The H&K-specific note is the trigger guard shape, which is squarer than a Sig or a Glock, so a holster molded for another micro-compact will feel almost right and hold wrong. Use the CC9 mold.
