Byrna Technologies sells less-lethal launchers, the projectiles for them, and the accessories around them: handheld pistol-format launchers, rifle-format launchers, kinetic and chemical rounds, CO2, magazines, and some pepper spray and related defense products. This guide lays out the lineup so the names make sense, and what we make to carry each of them.
Handheld launchers
- Byrna SD: the flagship .68-caliber launcher and the everyday-carry default.
- Byrna EP: the entry-level version of the SD platform, same size and caliber, at a lower price.
- Byrna LE: the higher-velocity .68 model, sold for law enforcement and home or vehicle defense.
- Byrna CL: the compact .61-caliber launcher, the smallest and newest handheld.
We make a molded kydex holster for each: SD/EP, LE, and CL.
Rifle-format launchers
- Byrna TCR: a tactical compact rifle launcher with a larger magazine.
- Byrna Mission-4: a rifle-format launcher for home defense and security use.
Projectiles
- Kinetic: hard polymer impact rounds.
- Eco-Kinetic: biodegradable practice rounds.
- Pepper: OC chemical rounds that burst on impact.
- Max: the strongest OC/CS chemical round.
In .68 for the SD, EP, LE and rifles, and .61 for the CL. Not cross-compatible.
