The Trayvax Element is a stainless steel plate wrapped in top-grain oil-tanned leather and held with mil-spec paracord, with a bottle opener, an integrated money clip, an attachment point and RFID protection built in. It is the rugged take on a leather wallet, slim enough for a front pocket, made in the USA with the 65-year warranty. This review covers what the paracord is for, the features, and where it sits between the Original and the Contour.

The paracord
It is not decoration. The cord laces the leather to the plate and sets the tension on the card stack: loosen it for more cards, tighten it for fewer. It also gives you a few feet of cord in an emergency, which is the Trayvax joke that is also true.
The features
A bottle opener at the end of the plate, a money clip in the steel, an attachment point for a lanyard or tether, and RFID blocking from the plate. None of it adds bulk.
Leather and patina
Same oil-tanned top grain as the Contour, and it ages the same way: darker, marked, personal.
Compared
The Original 2.0 is the all-metal version with a pry bar for $55. The Contour is the refined two-plate leather wallet from $190. The Element is the leather wallet with the Original's toughness.
