A weapon light changes the shape of the gun, and a holster molded to the bare pistol will not close around it. Carrying a light concealed
A light adds about an inch to the muzzle end and some width at the trigger guard. At appendix that inch is what you feel sitting down, so a light-bearing setup rewards a slightly higher ride and a claw. The upside is real: the light is on the gun when you need it, and a TLR-7 or Baldr Mini is small enough that the concealment cost is minor on a compact.
