The Glock 26 is the subcompact that made double-stack concealed carry normal: ten rounds of 9mm in a gun with a 3.43-inch barrel that takes every Glock 19 and 17 magazine you already own. It has been carried for nearly thirty years, which means there are a lot of bad holsters for it. This guide covers the kydex IWB we make for the 26, why it also fits the 27 and 33, and how to carry a gun that is short in the slide but wide in the grip.

Why the 26, 27 and 33 share a holster
Glock builds the 26 (9mm), 27 (.40) and 33 (.357 Sig) on the same frame and slide, and a molded holster grips the slide and trigger guard, so one mold covers all three. The 26 does not share a holster with the 19 or 43; the slide is shorter than the 19's and wider than the single-stack 43's, and a holster for either will not click.
The holster, reviewed
Clip & Carry IWB Holster for the Glock 26 / 27 / 33
Molded in .08-inch kydex to the 26 slide with no excess material, so the gun seats with an audible click and stays put. The edges are folded rather than left square, the sweat shield runs the full length of the slide, and the belt clip cants 20 degrees either direction. Retention is set with screws, and the screw spacing accepts a claw, which is the single best upgrade for this gun because the 26's grip is wide for its length and is the part that prints. Handmade in the U.S.A. by a military veteran, right or left hand, black or carbon-fiber-pattern kydex, lifetime guarantee.
How to carry a Glock 26
Appendix
The short slide makes the 26 one of the more comfortable double-stacks at appendix. Set the clip near neutral and add a claw to tuck the grip. If you run a 19 or 17 magazine with a sleeve, remember the grip gets taller and prints more.
Strong side
Fifteen to twenty degrees of forward cant at 3 or 4 o'clock rotates the wide grip under a shirt hem.
Optics and lights
This holster is molded for the 26 without a weapon light. If you carry a Gen 5 26 with a slide-mounted optic, check the height of your optic; the holster clears standard sights and most low-mount dots.
Frequently asked questions
Does a Glock 19 holster fit a Glock 26?
No. The 26's slide is shorter and the gun will not seat correctly. Use a 26-specific mold.
Does this holster fit the Glock 27 and 33?
Yes. The 26, 27 and 33 share a frame and slide.
Can I use Glock 19 magazines while carrying?
Yes, the holster grips the slide, not the magazine. A longer magazine makes the grip taller and harder to conceal.
Can I add a claw?
Yes. The retention screw spacing accepts one without drilling.
Is there a left-hand version?
Yes.
The bottom line
The Glock 26 IWB holster with a claw at appendix is the setup that makes a wide, short gun disappear. Molded, adjustable, and guaranteed for life.
